Looking up at the sky,
I see a fresh world,
The bad days are over,
The good unfurled.

I feel so peaceful,
The clouds passing me by,
Problems of the past try to haunt me,
Begging me to hide.

But I just smile brightly,
Feeling so content,
For the problems are behind me now,
I feel no regrets.

Today is a new day,
Exciting things can happen,
Why waste my precious time thinking,
Of the memories to sadden?

So I stand up tall,
The past, present and future with me,
I'm ready now,
For the person I want to be.
