-female n male can look alike
-they more social n interactive creature
-every chama have toxic saliva when they need to defend themself
-they have different classes, magical are most top rank then normal
-magical type usually have glow horns tht can manipulate elements and more
-chama can learn transformation magic to be humanoid for socilazing prupose
-their soft cheeks can glow softly to show more expression
-some wear clothes more and more to culture types
-wild ones r rare mostly separated from others and they r big then usual
-dominant chama consider as high standard type mostly have bigger/longer tail (attractive to female)
-they usually in a society at some environment spaces or build-self town
-they can speak in any langues by learnin or copy others

Saw your comment below on the whole "months and months" thing and I wanna throw my own two cents in.
Help is good yes, but it's much more productive to make an actual journal or even forum to ask for help, rather than going to someone "popular" about it.
For onigiry, her species have gotten popular over years of work and exposure. She has been on dA for years, but only in recent years has she gotten the attention/exposure that she currently has.
It takes time and no amount of help from someone popular can really change that.
My advice is to plan things out, be it posting a wip of an idea and working on it until you're happy with it.
If you make adopts just spread them around in groups or wait for a good time to post if you're that worried about it.
I have a multitude of species too, some that wouldn't be what they are without her, but it still takes time, dedication and exposure to get them noticed.
You can't really just expect her to help you, she's just a human and has her own burdens, this is something you have to put work into, rather than expecting others to give you all the answers.
When it comes to species just make what YOU like, not others.
Money isn't an issue, people just have tastes.
If you think it may look like something too much, tweak it or work around it.
That's the best advice I can give, and probably the best she could give too.

Yeah I agree she has very cute designs but it takes her days of thinking and multiple failed experiments until she gets it right. I think you should just figure it out yourself that way it'll feel more special.
