I was gonna make my character an arcanus but I do love these guys a lot (easier to draw and great design).

they will need have natural color and markings~ like the animal kingdom existed today~(mammal,bird,lizards)
so i see there a red/orange line resemble fire so is not approved

it was a bought design with the intention of the orange markings representing his powers.
I would be able to alter the eyes to be yellow and blue (or red and blue)
Would it be okay if the markings came when elemental powers are added? or they could be tattoos?

yeah u can make any colors for eyes,nails,teeth,pads
they should be ruine markings when the navask gain magic knowledge
this can obtain when the arpg is started to pick which clan/tribe ( coming soon )
but for now just basic common coat

Can I make a Navask now and add/buy uncommon or rare traits later on, or do I have to do that before the design gets approved?
And, if you are comfortable with this kinda stuff, is there any reference for Navask genitalia?

Since patterns are to be made of birds and reptiles and I so happened to pick this bird species... such as the Hornbill.. may I include that bump on top of the bill?

Good question so since hornbill have tht bump naturally so I can take into consideration it be a growth such as horns
But sadly it will be uncommon trait so no you cannot include it

I imagine you'll have rare traits later, and those can cost more-- like, $6 or something? Depending.
Or if you go beyond rare to have "special" traits, like wings or bio-luminescent spots, etc... it can be like $8?
