Ahh Project Chaos.
I'm actually fairly sure Cash Cash's Big Arm remix was inspired by Malicious Fingers.
If you look at their other work for Sonic Generations, there's a lot of references (Classic City Escape having part of Endless Mine in it, Super Sonic Racing using samples from the old Sega Saturn commercial etc)
At any rate, both remixes are very similar in style.
Also Dead Batteries is thebest track from all of Project Chaos, but i also have a massive hard-on Flying Battery Zone.

Simply put, I don't like people who identify themselves and their "lifestyle" through some ridiculous hobby that they take too far.

As for anthropomorphic characters themselves (not limited to just animals, as anthropomorphism is the quality of giving HUMAN features and emotions to non-human entities, "anthro" actually means HUMAN, such as in philanthropy etc) Like all designs, there's a way to do it wrong and a way to do it right.
Sonic i think is an example of it done right, he looks so stylized that you can hardly tell what the fuck he is.
