Description
One day where the realms of instict and reason clash, the kings of each land meet once more for their annual "what will we do with the human brain" discussion.Tired of many years of clashing and battling, they agreed that from there on, the game of dice they both liked would decide the outcome of every situation a human should encounter.
That's the origin of the coin toss.

This is ace.
The contrast between the two is very comical with Instinct crouched with many limbs and tenticals proding the brain while Reason hovers delicately just above it.
It's an imaginative concept. I guess nither can be good or evil depending on forever varying circumstances.

it's really stunning and original!
the only thing wrong( I know it's stupid, but I can't help myself:/) is that the dots on the dice are wrong.(If it wasn't on purpose, the parallel walls should have 7 dots together)

Love it! Unlike most other entries I saw, this one has an obvious contrast but at the same time has enough subtleties to make you wanna stay and look it more to figure them out

Hm. Interesting that Reason should seem so mechanical, almost industrial in it's nature. And Instinct is a beautiful, awe-inspiring brute. Both are endeared to me.

i love this concept, my on;ly worry is that you are not telling a good v. evil if you think, which i would agree, that instinct is not "something to be feared" as which you've stated in an earlier response.. but i love the logic vs instinct, its a great idea! and the characters are very cute

as i said before, all is relative, hence evil and good depends on different points of view, for some, reason is evil, for others, our animal side is evil,. If it's not called good vs evil, or inspires fear, that's good, it's not meant to inspire fear

I wanna say something about how the die is laid out wrong; you shouldn't see the three and the four side-by-side like that, since the three should be on the opposite side of the four. Each side and its opposite should add up to seven.
However, in a piece such as this, who's the say you didn't do that on purpose?
I love this so much, though, especially the king of reason. To me, it looks like he's wearing glasses, which, I'm not gonna lie, is downright adorable.
I like the king of instinct, though, too. Even though he's got such horrific qualities, like the mouth on top of his head, bug limbs, and gruesome color, he doesn't come across as something to be feared, for me, at least. ...That could just be the squid face, though.

though this is a drawing and i agree with every1 that there was no photography in the fianslits 50, this is a very unique piece, and interesting, it does not remind in any way demons/angels
