Hmm nice. I like this, the creamy, off-white colour is so simple and yet really striking. And it's a good composition, too. I can actually picture this being the accompanying piece to a poem, or short story of sorts.

When I saw this picture I was excited (and a little envious) that you had two pictures in the top two for most popular 'Darkroom
Then after viewing it full sized I am a bit put off in the fact that out of 48 favorites, and 68 views, it got just one comment. I Thought maybe most people left a comment in the other photo and felt they didn't need to express the same comment twice and therein did not leave another comment in this photo, but that picture only had 7 comments.
Anyways... I love these shots. and instead of just making you guess as to why I will explain in full
I like the monotone of it, definitely a sort of sepia, but not an overpowering one. Softness in the coffee gives it a sense of smoothness and carries the focus to the flower. The colorless flower that looks both alive and dead all at once. There is still a sense of softness in the flower, but it is brought on by great detail rather then post processing or wide aperture.
The one thing I will say is that the pictures do bore me a little. It seems as though there was great drama, but the picture is of the aftermath, and we will never understand what fully happened here. I'm not fully sure why I think it is boring...maybe the lack of movement, or the lack of color.
But I do really, really like it, great work, hope to see more soon!
