and then you back flop into those dark depths, the burning sting of hitting the water gives way to the biting cold and then when you think you might want to swim out of the dark and back onto warm dry land, the cold turns to NUMB and you think "this isn't so bad, what's the point of swimming out?" and so, you stay in that water, ice skin and blue lips, cold hands and dark minds. it really is... a One Way Trip.
