Eternity is quite a long time. Almost all witches have their soul bound to live forever, and most have no way to undo their binding. Some witches have an upkeep to their magic, needing to fuel their eternal life, and those witches get out easy as their senile minds forget, and their magic fades with them. Others with unending magic attached to their soul however are not so lucky. Those whose life surpasses their mind will become a lich, a rotting, insane, unending killing abomination. Liches are worldwide issues, threatening humanity with extinction, and leaving vile curses behind when they are finally killed or sealed away. The Witch of Blood is the next in line for lichdom. A relatively new witch, but with a mind that was rotten even before her transformation into a witch. Everywhere she goes, she leaves traps for unsuspecting souls to walk in, and have their body pierced with eternal pain, and their soul trapped, unable to pass on. She leaves wakes of blood, both her own and others. She has resorted to using her own body as catalysts for her wicked spells, warping her tainted blood and decaying flesh into magic the like has not been seen before. The Witch of Blood truly will be the most powerful lich the world has seen.
