Description
The box sits in the back of an antique shop. A simple dark red box, with a button on the back and the words, "The Ballerina", printed on the bottom. When opened, a gentle twinkling comes from within, and the pedestal in the center rises, lifting with it a small incredibly detailed girl in a ballerina outfit. The pedestal begins to spin, taking the girl with it. The girl seems to cry, as if in extreme pain, but her face remains unmoving, still, ceramic. Around the girls ankles are two chains, which move and clink quietly as the pedestal spins. Attempting to remove the girl finds that she is not connected at the feet to the pedestal, but instead at the chains, which are connected underneath the pedestal. Some are inexplicably drawn to the box, finding it gorgeous and pristine. Those who own the box find their fate turning sour, losing things, becoming injured, and having other minor accidents. After some time, no more than a month, the owner of the box will have a tragic accident and lose their life, and the Witch of the Box will be returned to the shop from which it came.
