Description
A young witch lies in wait in the trees. Her target was said to pass by in just a few moments along the forested road. The girl grows impatient as the nobleman she was late on his expected route. The gentle clop of hooves and wooden wheels against gravel breaks the silence of the woods as a carriage begins to approach the bend where the Witch of the Hunt readies her dart. Soon the gaudy red and gold cart passes underneath her, and no later the witch throws her dart into the window of the cart. The feathers bend as they clear the open window, turning the dart up and into the neck of the nobleman, piercing an artery and filling his bloodstream with poison. Another successful kill for the Witch of the Hunt.
