They say mirrors gateways to the afterlife, that their reflection is of your soul, not your body. Tales are spun of unfortunate souls dragged through the surface of the mirror and trapped in the afterlife. Often, the spirits behind the mirror, or the mirror itself is the cause of these tales, but sometimes, a living creature is able to move between the veils freely, and the more malicious of those may attempt to drag any onlookers into the wretched grey void of the afterlife. The Witch of Lies is one of these people that can move through mirrors like water. Her haunting voice calls out in forests, luring altruistic wanderers to her cries of peril. Once someone gets close to her, she reaches her sharp crooked fingers out to grab onto the poor adventurer's soul into the mirror, leaving their body a crumpled sack of bone and flesh for her to pilfer.
