my current obsession, as it stands. a still from the 20's silent movie Beyond The Rocks, starring gloria swanson and rudloph valentino [*swoon*].

i'm using "dark umber" prismacolour pencil crayon to do this, in an attempt to give it the vintage sepia look.

'xcuse the blurry outcome of the scan, the work is larger than the scanner, so it doesn't lay flat.

i have such the hankering to actually see this movie now. apparently every sunday night after midnight, turner classic movie channel plays silent movies. i will have to keep my eye open for it.
