My Fanime 2006 costume, inverse-colors Robo-Ky, of Guilty Gear XX#Reload / GGXX SLASH fame.
By some miracle of stubbornness and hard work I made the whole thing and it actually doesn't look bad at all! Now if I had just been able to find a wig! Darn my curly locks, I wasn't supposed to be cosplaying "frobo-ky".

Construction tidbits:
The mask is epoxy-resin with microfill, which makes forms a weird clay-like mass that dries very light and very sturdy. Nice stuff, if a bit expensive. Yes I can see out of it, but you can't really see the slits from the outside.

The sword is foam layered over wood, that was then covered with vinyl (like the kind that would put over furniture or somesuch) and then painted. It's a giant nerf Lightining Seal sword!

The big gold buttons are big sink plugs. Yeah!
