Description A blerb I wrote to sell this piece on Etsy...

This complex mandala pattern was digitally designed to display the most vivid printed colors possible. From the mind of ONOJK123 (Jonathan Kendall), this piece displays a pattern in which we can see him using unique methods producing circular and interleaving colors bound by neat yet bold lines. The piece is titled "Suddenly It Works", describing the experience of difficulty melting away, replaced by clarity and ease of creative expression. The size of this artwork is (35 IN X 35 IN), perfect for any area where people congregate within a vivid and colorful aesthetic surrounding.

ONOJK123 has been making Mandala patterns utilizing both open source programs (GIMP, GNU IMAGE MANIPULATION PROGRAM) and closed source image editing programs like Adobe Photoshop. Most creators of digital mandalas use Adobe Illustrator as a means to replicate the patterns they design. Interestingly ONOJK123 uses GIMP to begin the Mandala, using self taught techniques he has honed over years of creative exploration. He then brings an unfinished Mandala pattern into Adobe Photoshop to refine the patterns colors and often will add texture though means of the filters built into the program. The entire process is an experience which ONOJK123 cherishes as a means to de-stress and to creatively express his desire to produce pieces of art that speak to the the human mind, soul, and sensory experience in a memorable way.

The piece is custom framed by Aaron Brothers framing and has standard glass. ONOJK123 uses a digital signature on all of his printed pieces. Image is originally in a digital format. File available upon request. Printed on acid free matte paper.
