My friend LITERALLY told me about Slenderman/Splendorman yesterday.
I read about Slenderman, and she sent me Splendorman as anti-nightmare-fuel.
Also, there was something on the Slenderman TVTropes page about how if Slenderman was everywhere and anywhere, then he was currently standing on top of the writer's car, his not-face smacking into the overhead signs. I promptly died from the hilarity of that mental image.

Really? That's pretty awesome...I can't really be a fan of a cosmic horror, and while Slenderman is awesome, if I were to meet him, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction.

Hm, don't really know about that...Have you ever started a chant of "Ran ran ruu" in the cafeteria, managed to get the entire cafeteria to join in, and soon after the chant 'summoned' your missing friend to the school?

I did something weirder.
It got really quiet in the cafeteria for like half a minute and my friends and I jumped up on the tables and started screaming and cursing and flopping around like fish out of water. I ripped my friend's pants off and wore it as a sweater. Then the whole cafeteria had a food fight, and I grabbed a poster and a broom and started beating people like it was the movie 300 or something. My friend recorded it and put it in slow-mo too.
