Description
It took me about 500 attempts to get this shot. I'll be trying some more, but this kinda came out great after all. Camera getting wet, lots of trouble on focusing (I don't have a macro lens) and patienceRelated content

Thanks so much! Yeah I'm using the Nikon D60 since July, but not all my deviations were taken with it since them. It's a great camera, thank you! I'm glad you liked my experiment

Thanks dude! Your support is greatly appreciated. I didn't went for the 19, if I was aiming for a specific number this could have taken damn eternity to get lol so I'm pretty happy that I got 19, just one below the maximum 20
I'll be trying some more of this kind of shots soon, so keep your eyes opened

Did you recently get a D60, or have I just missed that you used that camera this whole time?
Cool shot, I like the selective color idea, and the macro is perfect -- beautiful focus and clarity.

Well I've been using it since July when I bought it, but not all my shots were taken with it in this mean time though, but most of them. It is a great camera!
Thanks man! I thought that the background would be perfect to contrast with the red of the dice, and abt the macro, came out surprisingly good even though it wasn't made with a macro lense

Yeah, you've been getting much better with your photography, but I knew it wasn't just the better locations and compositional elements, I thought the overall quality was getting better as well.

So you "took 20" on your photography skill?
Nice picture. Interesting idea. And a D20 has never looked so cool.

"Take 10 / Take 20"
An RPG term used in tabletop pen&aper RPG's.
Taking 20 or Taking 20 means that your character will attempt at an action untill they succeed.
An example would be picking a lock if the character has a low skill level at this.
Of course, it is not a guarantee and it takes time in the game, it can save time in some cases.
And all other factors such as does the character have time at all and can a failed attempt be tried again must be considered. So you can't Take 10 on a leap of faith or trying to hit that level 60 troll and damage it with a spoon.
The 10 and 20 count as "rounds" which time span is determined by the game. So taking 10 means the character will carefully attempt at the task for 10 rounds.
Just something I read from a RPG rulebook sometime. Amazing I remembered it...
