Thanks, I'm glad you like the effect! I simply took a photo of a crumpled up paper, then merged them both on Photoshop using the 'multiply' blending mode

this is such an emotive shot. great location and veiw. by the way, how did you make it look like a wrinkled paper photograph. I know some people like to keep their trade secrets... but i was just wondering. it gives it such a cool effect.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it.
BTW the wrinkled paper is a texture applied on PS. You need a photo of a wrinkled paper or a stock you can find on the internet. Then you blend the two using "multiply". Easy and simple!

hey, could u pls tell me which effect did u use to give the impression of an old piece of paper?

oO-Rein-Oo In reply to green-daydreamer [2009-08-25 16:19:19 +0000 UTC]
You need to get a stock photo (or take one yourself) of a crumpled up paper, then open both the photo you wanna edit and the photo of the paper then blend them on multiply
Any doubts you can note me!

It must be one of the best cellphone and selftimer shot on dA; there must have been an angel sitting on your phone, so much could have gone wrong but it's all right.
