It looks like you've litteraly frozen the moment. As if you transformed the water drops into drops of ice.
Stroke of genius.

LOL the difficulty of this kind of shot is that the water movement is completely random, so it really took a while to get this "wow" effect
Thank you by the way!

Great capture! I like your use of flash to keep the water sharp. I'm used to seeing soft and fluffy water in photographs so this is very unique.

Thanks so much! But I must add that this shot wasn't taken with a flash. The reason most of the splash photographs have the water not completely frozen like on this shot is due to the large amount of light required to compensate the very high shutter speed that would freeze the action, even with a high ISO it is difficult to achieve. Plus, most of the cameras can only sync the flash in a maximum of 1/200sec, which makes the usage of it limited, since 1/200 isn't enough to make the water look so solid like I did here. So, this shot was taken in an outdoor pool in the tropical sun of an area very near to the Equator at midday in a cloudless day. And even with all those conditions helping the light to be maximum I had to set the ISO on 200 to be able to use the speed of 1/1250. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoy the pic!!!
