beautiful concept.. nicely done. hope the fish are swimming free by now lol goldfish are so misunderstood. i have two myself that are about eight years old, the biggest is over a foot long. goldfish rule

I love this shot, it's so vibrant, but at the same time it catches you and makes you stop and think.

As nice a photo as this is (colour-wise), I can't help but feel that it is on the 'crowded' side with the addition of the other fish - the shot that was a DD the other day came across as more dramatic and punchy because it simpler. Still great work though, no way of denying that! (You're far braver than I am if you're standing on that roof *shudder*)

Ok.... removing you from my watchinglist. I can't see more pics of poor caged fishes.
No fish were harmed? No just scared to hell. Probably there was very little oxygen in those bags. Great perpective? Try to enjoy while you dont' get enough air to breathe and are encaged in a little plasticbag and don't understand what's happening to you.
I don't like what you are doing and please don't tell, I'm overreacting. Those are animals, they have nerves and can feel. You shouldn't treat them as toys for your art.

you are free to do as you wish, but I must say that I take good care of the fishes!! I have a huge aquarium in my home and I just take the fishes for a couple of hours to the photographs, they can resist 12 hours inside the plastic bags and that is due to the oxygen that's available on the water, but even though I just "use" them for a couple of hours then back to the aquarium too! I wouldn't be doing this if I was harming the fishes, I love them and they live in an aquarium in my house, I wouldn't forgive myself if something happens to them... thank you!

You know fish aren't people right? You can't put yourself in that situation and assume a fish will feel the same way. Yes fish have nerves and can feel but their ability to feel emotion is far less than are ability, and I seriously doubt they can think about what is happening or what will happen, they most likely survive purely on instinct. Their brains are far smaller and less complex than ours so you cannot expect them to have the same level of awareness or mental facilities.

Last time I checked, fish can live in a bag without suffering any suffocation issues for over 6 hours if it's in clean air and fresh water, which bagged fish almost always are.
And they're fish.
They don't suffer from post dramatic stress disorder, if you get my drift.

Actually that's how you transport fish from the pet store. They don't stay in the bags for very long - just however long it takes to get from the pet shop to your house. As they have quite small lungs they can stay in those things for a fairly long time. Also, fish don't really think or feel like us. They definitely have "feelings", and nerves and all that, but stuff like this doesn't harm them, as they forget about it pretty much as soon as they're out of the bag. A few pictures won't harm them, so don't worry.

This is arbitration. The gold fish are the pure and good, while the black fish represents the evil. Kinda' like that blind lady with the scales...
