The colors are really moving, any other programs involved besides PS?
Not liking own works is just part of being an artist, besides, I don't know how much time it takes you to to retouch your photos on average, but sometimes I sit hours and days looking at the same image, till.. it burns itself into my cornea, and I can't look at it anymore, till the next day

I only use Lightroom for the RAW edit and PS afterwards for the color work, but for this particular pic I didn't use Lightroom. Lightroom wasn't in my standard editing process yet.
I guess it is kinda a common thing to not like your own works. Like you said, it is maybe part of being an artist. Many people have agreed with me on that.
I have odd methods when I make my pictures too. I Usually spend two hours per picture, but this is only the editing time. For example, I will only edit a picture if I am inspired to do that and if that particular picture is on my mind for a while. Plus you may know by my gallery that I like to create concepts and involve thoughts along with my work, so that takes me even more time, as sometimes I don't exactly have the concept on my mind for some photos and I obviously have to come up with it during the editing time, to set the correct mood for the pic. I think you know that the editing can sometimes make or ruin a photo. And I can't keep on looking at the final version of the edited photo for a while. I think I am crazy lol
About the work you showed me, I like it, but I can't imagine how it would be if I worked not only on photographs but on photomanips. The editing process would be pretty annoying for me I guess. It is already difficult to deal with single images

I tried that too, but just could't take the photo without grabbing the camera, and a tripod won't work on this case. Anyways, thanks for the suggestion, I may try it again

Okay. Yes, I think you need some sort of "construction" for your camera around your chest, and turn on the self-timer.
