BEST work i've seen on deviantart.
Every time i start on a work and i magine how the result has to look like, simular images like these appear in my mind, but i'm not good enough yet to get them on paper.
I also draw while listening music, in a state of trance

Interesting. Magnificently detailed. I too feel as if the scan isn't too good though, or maybe you blurred it to get rid of the peculiar sharpness that can ruin artpieces that are scanned?

This is unbelievable stuff, it's such a shame the scan isn't higher quality. If I were you I would try and get a better scan and spend some time cleaning up in Photoshop a little, this picture is well worth it.

the spiral and the subjective mapping of random patterns are the evolution of both art and science.. they will meet there- full circle so to speak...
i haven't heard it before, so that was my own thought but it appears that it might be as universal as i anticipated...

That's a great work you have there - i can relate on trance-drawing... it's often the best. I like to do work when i've been up for way too long, as it puts me in a kind of trance, at least to where i can achieve things greater than normal. Hooray for the subconscious!
Hope you can take a better photo sometime, though... it could do it more justice!
