Scottish Battlefield 2007 (Culloden) ~ I almost left my camera on the bus this day. It was wet, windy and all together dreary, but I'm glad I didn't. This massive field has an almost haunting quality as you walk through. I like this photo because the more I looked at it, the more I saw. For example, if you look in the distance (top right) you can see a red flag. There was a row of red and blue flags that represented the front of the British and the Scottish battle lines. Also if you look in front of the headstone, and every headstone at Culloden there were bunches of flowers laid in remembrance. The last thing I realized was the storm in the clouds above were the ones that moved into and flooded Southern England.
