I wouldn't say this is quite horror and macabre. Making the photo a little darker and having the girl have a different expression would help. Also, you can tell a little easily that the stuff on the zombies is fake.
Good shot though! Love the angle.

The zombies look incredible and their make up is absolutely perfect. But I just see so many things missing. The whole atmosphere isn't dark. The lightening is strong and the grassy ground gives a positive cheerful vibe. I really don't mean to be offensive or anything, I just think this is majestic yet lacks elements that would seriously improve the photograph.

WOW !!! The maquillage for the zombies is excellent and just look at the expression of that girl : you really get the feeling of terror in her eyes.
