However I will tell you it's use.

It's usually shown after beating the [Non-existent] game and somehow getting a different ending or route.

it can be triggered by moving editing, or viewing files you aren't supposed to for the same reason.

[Editing on it's own cannot cause a new ending, and usually the edited files are reverted,

but there is an exception, and that's something for much later]
