Night EyesDarkness is creeping
yet gone when I blink
but there it is again
my mind is on the brink.
Swallowing the light
leaving shadow in its place
but yet there is the light again
has my mind been erased?
The devilish cycle repeats through and through
the moon is playing tricks with me
my thoughts are askew.
Never never ask me to explain what I see
because im not even sure I saw it
the night is playing tricks on me.
