Openwindow, I am assuming that this piece is purely comical?
Really, this gives no insight into the relationship between man and machine, does it?
I mean, come on, the two aren't exactly linked by the piece.
It's like saying that Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' gives a deep insight into the nature of insanity. Surely not!
What this piece is, is an astute, culturally witty, play on words. Fab stuff, but come now, guys, this is surely art with a single purpose: to amuse. And what a good job it does.

Wow! I like the pic because as first intepretation would be the criticism towards the technological world, but actually, I can't be sure sure which world you are criticing, the one with the knife or the other with the message dialog. Or maybe it just their relation which is so amusing. I hope more works would be as sharp-eyed as this one is.

when I look at that image, the only thing that looks real to me is the blade, which seems to emphasise it all and yeah... amazing stuff, simple yet powerful... yes, very good

i'm one of the unusual few who's never contemplated suicide... this graphic totally gives me some chills, man. its a very striking reference to an everyday view. also a very original concept. i'd be willing to bet that there are prevention organizations out there who could use this in an online ad or some sort of brochure... you should check it out...

Awesome idea with a very inspirational tone.. everybody hates though little pop ups just as we all should hate suicide.. this is absoulutly wonderful! Having had two people I know commit suicide in the last two years *one an adult, one a kid* I can realte. Thanks for sharing.
