“Come on slowpoke, the field is this way!”
The energetic kit calls to her friend, who’s severely lagging behind.
“S-Slow down Boogi, you’re going too fast!”
Dualblade dragged himself against the dirt and grasses of the forest, watching as Boogi hopped from tree to tree with excitement and glee. He looked baffled, he was quite jealous of Boogi’s agility, wishing that he himself could jump through the trees so gracefully one day.

Boogi stops on a thick branch, staring off into the distance. Her already huge smile spreads to each corner of her face, as her tail wags intently with excitement.
“Here it is Dualblade, come look!!”
She turns and yells to her friend, who finally caught up to her. Dualblade squints as the sudden sunlight formerly hidden by the trees shines in his direction.
“Agh… what did you need to show me?-”
His eyes widened at the sight before him. A huge open field of colorful flowers and grasses, accompanied by butterflies and the sunlights lively gaze. He stood speechless at the beautiful natural work of art, until he felt his hand get grabbed and his body dragged towards the field.

“Hahahaha~! Isn’t it beautiful Dualblade? Just look at all of these flowers and bugs!” Boogi exclaimed.
She flopped backwards into the patches of flowers, taking a huge whiff of the smell. Sighing contently, she waved her arms in the air, urging Dualblade to come join her.

Dualblade glances around the field before taking a seat next to Boogi.
“This was the “very cool super special thing” you wanted to show me? A.. field of flowers?” Dualblade questioned, poking at a sunflower next to him.
Boogi stood up, her smile brighter than ever. “Yea!! Isn’t it so pretty?”
She opens her arms to embrace the hug of nature, blushing in joy. “It’s very quiet and empty too, we could keep this field as a secret, just our own little space! Doesn’t that sound fun?”
Dualblade cracks a small smile at the idea, chuckling at Boogis wagging tail.
“Yeah, that does sound fun… heh..”

He lays onto the flowers, staring up at the cloudy skies. His smile slowly widens as the fresh smell of flowers takes over his nostrils, keeping him at peace.. His eyes were about to close, in fact, but the sudden sound of grass shuffling against each other snaps him out of his trance. Raising a brow, he turns his head to the side to see Boogi picking a flower from the field, a large blue flower with petals tinted red at the edges. It was about as big as her hand, visibly bigger than all the other flowers surrounding it.

Boogi turns to Dualblade with the flower in her hand, gently gripping the thin stem of the flower. She scoots over as Dualbade perks his head up, curious.
“Look Dualblade, this flower is blue and red, just like you! Isn’t it so cute?” she says while bouncing in joy.
Dualblade sits up, staring at the flower in Boogis hand, admiring the colors. He smiles while chuckling, his happiness making Boogi smile even more.
“Some badass colors, I like this flower!”

Boogi raises her arms up in joy, kicking her feet and shouting “yay!” as Dualblade tries to avoid getting kicked in the stomach by the hyperactive kit in front of him. Boogi’s celebration simmers down a little when her ears perk up suddenly, like an idea just appeared in her head! She slightly leans onto Dualblade, reaching for the top of his head. Then, very carefully, places the flower securely behind his ear, giggling at Dualblades new accessory.
Dualblade stares upward at the sky, trying to get a look at the flower on his head; unknowing that his cheeks are glowing a bright orange hue. Now noticing her standing up, Dualblade gets onto his feet and scoots a bit towards Boogi.
“Where ya going? We just got here…”

Boogi frowns a little, staring down at the flowers surrounding her feet. “It’s getting late, I have to get back home for dinner… mom would get upset if I’m gone too long at night.” She lifts her head up and smiles at Dualblade, taking her first few steps back towards the forest. “It was fun though, despite how short we’ve been here! Wanna come back tomorrow? There has to be more here for us to explore!!”

Dualblade takes another look at the field surrounding him, sighing at the peacefulness it radiates. “Of course, it’s pretty out here…” he says, while yet another grin spreads on his face. Turning to face Boogi, he waves as she makes her way through the trees again, just as gracefully as before.
