Kieryn was a kind soul when she was a little girl, always respectful to everyone. Then everything changed when she got kidnapped by the octarians, and spent the rest of her childhood in a testing tube. She was split into two personalities, one purely sweet like she was as a child, and one absorbing all the negativity from the torture and experiments she had gone through after her kidnapping.

When one half was let out of the testing tube and was now being used as a weapon, she was given the code name 'Flair' for her attitude towards anyone who would interact with her. She was given many tests to help her get a grasp on her new strength. Later that week, she escaped the area of her capture and took it down as Agent 3.

About a year later, Tar tar started to sanitize her to make her attack a lone octoling know as Agent 8 who had been helping Cap'n. But this octoling looked very familiar, as her mind was cloudy, she made nothing of it. When Tar tar was defeated and everything was back to how it should be, she started to feel incomplete.

Meanwhile, the other half of her, known only as K(ay) was being drained of anything she could be, as she was essentially useless as a war machine. One day, while being taken out, she regained consciousness in time to react to her body being taken out of the tube. She took that opportunity to make a run for it, and so she made it out too. An agency took her in and said she had a mission to find her missing half. This agency had been watching this octolings for quite a while and knew about her other half, they caught her up on it and then she was sent out.

It took her a while, but Kay eventually found Flair in a very corrupted state, and the only way to stop this from spreading until it took over completely was to merge herself back with her other half. This brought back many memories from both parties which caused her many pains. The scars were immanent and were there for life, no matter what she would do.

Kieryn later met up with Scylla, who was known as Agent 4 and Kiki, who she remembered from the fight Flair fought when helping Cap'n and then when brainwashed to fight for Tar tar. The three of them now live together.
