Erebos: The great lord of the darkness. Without which there would be no light. The darkness of the Universe, the darkness of night and of shadows.

While many see Erebos as a fearsome deity, I do not. He is just the balance of Light. And I do not fear the dark. I embrace it as much as I do the light. Darkness does not mean evil nor fear. These are man-made idealisms. Erebos is very rarely seen in any surviving art, The only real surviving depiction comes from the Altar of Pergamon. And ever that is lacking in detail. I have gifted Erebos, as I have seen him and a great deal of artistic liberty: The black headband and sandals, and a black himation. The bull motif comes from a little-known tale of Erebos I discovered from the village of Thirio, told to me by the museum curator, in which Erebos and Nyx had to defeat and celestial black bull that ruled over darkness. Which they did and this, claimed the darkness and the night. Feeling the image incomplete, I gave Erebos the pendant of upside-down bull horns, just to give it something extra.
