Potent brew is the third oldest of the five and she is commonly known for founding witchcraft and zecora follows her studies she’s the great grandmother of twilight sparkle and celestias mentor she has a younger sister fresh brew who betrayed her and banished her from what is now canterlot into what is now the everfree forest where to spite her sister potent brew cursed the forest and everything in it making all the monsters that reside in that forest she even was the one who made poisonous joke at first she wanted it to be deadly and made it the color of her sisters favorite color planning to kill her and take back the throne but all it did was cause a joke on any pony who touched it and sadly to her had a cure a lot of ponies and creatures follow her teachings to this day it is said she smelt like dead tree leaves and poison
