Description

Left to right: naga (not to scale!), arachnope, alraune witch, spifter, mandrake, and galhot.

The arachnope is my boy Ivy Briar, while the spifter is my new OC Marietta. I hope to draw more of them soon. :">

Here's a basic rundown of each species.

Nagas are species under the Reptilian classification. They are part human and part snake. Usually, the female nagas look fiercer and are bigger than male nagas. Shapeshifting is one of their basic abilities, believed to have been given to them by Queen Leryn.

Arachnopes are a cousin to the spifter. They are scaredy spider people who are venomous, but they would rather spin their web and make textiles and fabrics. In general, anyway.

Alraune witches are cute floating people, but don't be fooled. They are one of the strongest in terms of magical prowess. 'Witch' is a gender-neutral term for them, though most of them do present as feminine.

Spifters are cousins to arachnopes. Spifters, short for spider shapeshifters, have one to three pairs of arms and four eyes as a spider-beast, and as humans all they retain of their other form are the number of arms they have.

Mandrakes, also called mandragora, are usually faceless. They may have eyes, but it's hard to determine until you look closely, as they are among the smaller species of alraunes.

Galhots had been the human equivalent in Meridian until the humans came. They are bigger and thicker than humans in structure, and they can grow rock armor on their skins to protect themselves.
