Description
I was talking to Little-Pandemonium about human design ideas for the TTTE characters. I told her about my human Mavis design and she said it was a good idea so I decided to draw her!

Based on where she works, the Quarry is a really noisy place. Other diesels aren't bothered by loud noise (probably because they're used to it) but I've always seen Mavis as very sensitive to loud noises. Because of this, she wears noise-cancelling ea/rmuffs at all times. Unfortunately, they cannot play music and simply block out loud noises. Mavis can still hear others when they're directly talking to her, though. I designed the earmu/ffs to look like the yellow and black face plate she has in the actual series.

I also gave her red overalls and grey buttons to match her buffers (which I thought was clever on my part). I was going to make her hair black but I realized that clashed with her shirt and earm/uffs. I instead colored her hair yellow since I see Mavis as a dirty blonde. Literally. She's only a dirty blonde because she works at a dirty Quarry all day. Go figure.

This was really fun to draw and like how my human interpretation of this character turned out! Thanks again to Little-Pandemonium for hearing me out on my character design ideas
