And what better place to start than with the protagonist of the series.

Ricky Beamer.

A skinny nerdy boy who is tormented by all his classmates. For much of his life, Ricky had to endure a lot of sadistic teasing at school, such as being called "Ricky Rat" and "Sicky Ricky". He never had any friends because most of them saw him as a nerd. Ricky has often been angry and bitter because kids are constantly making fun of him and he really couldn't understand why they were always making fun of him and there are possible times when Ricky would really lose him and be forced to take revenge. The person Ricky has the worst relationship with is Tasha, as she despises him because he's a sixth-grader and would always yell at him if Ricky made a mistake. He also had the worst relationship with Brenda, David, Jared, and Wart, as they had also messed with him. At first, Ricky thought things could get better when he moved to a strange town called "Dark Falls", where he meets his new neighbor, the beautiful and a bit of a liar Lucy Dark. However, things get scary when he discovers that Dark Falls is not what it seems, as this city is full of monsters, demons, and villains, and he has to survive all the madness, crime, and destruction caused by the city and those who inhabit it, especially from a sadistic and con artist director, A sadistic bad guy who owns a horror theme park, an evil doll, a mastermind leader of an evil alien race that kidnaps human bodies, among other monsters.
