These poor people will never actually get around to having a romantic moment, huh

along with some personal headcanons that by some crazy miracle the HEV suits saved their owners, but all that radiation and alien energy proved too much to filter entirely, changing their biology and basically making some fairly powerful humans. Ever wondered why Gordon keeps taking shotguns to the chest? Not because of the hev suit, that thing’s crap. It gives him a flashlight and that’s pretty much it.
