was so happy to get the adopt from 06pikacute that I may have hyperfixated on drawing them for a good two hours- I’ve got some good lore for em-

here it is:
in Equilibrium, having five guardian families wasn’t always the norm. Many years ago, there was one of a unique divine species appointed as Guardian per island. Things proceeded this way until the first major Corruption incident, in which the Guardian teamed up with four faeries to defeat it, but ended up becoming corrupted herself, posing a danger to Paradise and beyond. Both the Guardian and the four faeries perished, and it was decided that the role of Guardian had to be shared by five families, so that they could always counteract each other in case one should fall.

Meet Raisha, a member of the divine species Kanum directly created by Krei (the goddess in my au). Kanum, as listed above, were originally lone guardians of the Tree before they were phased out.
The faeries look awfully similar to our present day champions.. hmm-

i won’t ping them every time i draw her just bc it would probably get annoying, but at some point when i get her ref done I’ll ping them again just for continuity.
