The manga that transitioned JoJo's Bizarre Adventure from Shonen to Seinen.
I'm not entirely certain, but some people have said JJBA draws a lot of spiritual influences from Fist of the North Star. And Part 7: Steel Ball Run definitely feels like that. Multiple powers that focus on twisting and manipulating the human body in various ways, often with gruesome results. And of course, the main power, the Spin, was originally used by a family that worked as both executioners and healers.
In that case, I wonder if Hirohiko Araki truly wanted to return the series to it's roots?
Which why I imagine old school manga readers will find this a love letter to the classic manga of older days.
Definitely one I recommend reading!
