It was hard to tell who was more surprised - the men or the women.

When Linus De'Vier got the email from a woman, asking to become a live-in rider of SPaVES, he was curious but happy enough to send back an acceptance letter. The woman claimed she was a part-time model who just wanted to go back to her horse-loving, farm-girl roots.

Now, though she had mentioned she was a model, it didn't actually sink in that she was a model until the woman swung a long leg out of the trailer's cab and stood there, smiling cheerfully at them. Her hair was a bizarre assortment of waves, stick-straight lengths and a few tight braids thrown in just for good measure. Linus didn't know whether to gape dumbly, say hello or panic about her decidedly un-horse-safe attire.

Thankfully, he was saved by a loud, authoritative whinny from the trailer, and the muffled sound of a hoof hitting metal. Rolling her eyes with an indulgent smile, the woman went to the back and opened the trailer, letting the large brown horse inside out.

The two stood together for a moment, the woman cooing gently and tickling the stallion's muzzle while the horse huffed indignantly. While the two newcomers were otherwise occupied, Linus took a moment to study the horse, and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw the stallion was clearly a Dusana.

A while back, they had heard about an auction of special bonding horses, and had been severely tempted, but as it were, everyone at SPaVES already had their personal favourites - Linus had Tai, Jason had Roz, Pierre had Dame, Arlada had Spice and Raenelle had her precious batshit-crazy horses. Even Edmond had his Bloodhorses.

Startling out of his thoughts by the clip-clop of hooves, Linus looked up to see the woman sashaying her way over to the assembled group, holding out a hand with a cheerful smile. Awkwardly clearing his throat, Linus did the same, smiling a tad uncertainly at the woman. "Ah, welcome to SPaVES, Miss..."

"Elaina." She smiled, blue eyes sparkling. Absently, Linus noted they were the exact same colour as the stallion's. "Elaina Ingram.

Personality: Icarus is a quiet, watchful stallion, with a clear jealous streak. He is extremely protective of Elaina, and he literally follows her everywhere - the two are never separated. He is stubborn and pig-headed by nature, though his bark is usually worse than his bite. But god help the poor fool that tries to hurt his girl.

Other Notes: He and Elaina have been together since Icarus was a foal. Elaina's room was specially modified so that one corner had a stall for Icarus that led in directly from the outside.
For stud?: Open to any non-Dusana related mare.
