I seriously wanna start a comic, and I've been wanting too.
But yeah I never thought of a story and stuff.

Lame backstory is lame.
Tommy goes down across the street a lot to play classic games. He's been doing this for many years, since he was the age of eight. Everything was great! Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug; you name it! Soon enough, though, he begins to realize that the characters in the game are glitching out. There's never been any glitches that he knows of.
Not too many days afterwards, he finds out his parents are divorcing because his mom failed her drug test, and his dad was caught shoplifting. Tommy is tired of this nonsense! Why can't he just have a normal family? Why did he have to have dumbass parents?
He tells his friends, but they can't do anything about it.
Now he's starting to feel helpless. Lost. Misunderstood. He really doesn't wanna turn into some emo kid though, so he switches up his style and personality a bit to turn the tables and become an individual instead. Tommy doesn't, correction, can't thrive off of his friends forever.
His ex-friends start to notice. Everyone is noticing! How come you only get the attention you need when bad things happen? You only get attention if you change?!
What kind of a sick world is Tommy living in?
Welcome to earth, Tommy. Starting from the very day your life gets better, bad things will happen. For sure.
