This is my custom painted vinyl scratch ds lite front plate,its a freehanded piece and i used citadel paints and a clear varnish,
and its up for auction so send me a offer and mabey its yours!

Is this the actual piece of hardware that contains the top screen and the speakers, or is is just a cover? Because if you actually removed the top screen component, I don't think that's reattachable.

its the actual housing front and nothing else
and its possible to reattach the top (i have been doing repairs on ds's and psp's for 2 years now)

Aren't there a bunch of wires you have to reconnect? Obviously, it voids your warranty, but it looks like a lot of people don't care about that.

well i do this everyday so i know how the things are wired and there is nothing that can void the warranty of a ds xD

I wish you could fix my slightly broken DS Lite hinge. I use a 3DS now, but sometimes I still have to use my DS Lite and the loose hinge is bothersome.

Wait,if you paint the inside,like when the dS unfolds,how do make sure the paint does not seep thru the speakers and corrupt the ds components?
