Oh Tron...it has it's problems, and it's not really a great movie but I still like it. Mostly I like CLU, but I seem to just adore evil, misdirected robots in general.Anyway, seeing this movie mostly made me want to create a shit ton of OCs for the system of my own comp, my dear Satellite. Atrus is the CPU, he's a big guy w/ a lot of processing power, but he's no spring chicken...well 2 1/2 isn't that old either.
Maybe later I'll draw some of my fav programs - photoshop, vegas, finale and such. I'm just too easily pulled into fandoms...I spent the whole day fawning over humanizations of Auto from Wall-e for cripes sake! >_<
Maybe I should have drawn Avast as a pirate...hehe!

Haha everyone keeps asking me if I RP with these guys. Nope, but maybe someday I will! I kind of imagine it though, like the other day my comp was freaking out and kept shutting down and I was like "No Atrus! Don't die! You can get through this!!"
Quality fanfiction is rare indeed though!

Actually, these are some of the best OCs I've seen in the fandom so far. Next to their design, what makes them good is that they actually seem to fit in to cannon nicely. The only one I'm slightly nitpicky about would be the CPU OC because well... a CPU isn't an actual program but that can easily be worked around. But it's a great personification. I really do like him.

Wow, thanks so much! Yeah, Atrus is more like a personification of the actual, physical computer but it's fun to think of things like laptops or cars or coffee makers as people. ^_^

Yeah some of my fav computer memories are of watching my sister playing Myst, so I named my first laptop Atrus. Which of course makes my second laptop Atrus 2.0.
I don't think I ever actually beat that game...

It was a fun movie that tried to be somewhat philosophical, but it had plot holes the size of Montana and didn't explain it's own universe very well...
...but I've seen it twice and I'd see it again, and I'd love to get the art book and the video game!

The one thing I did appreciate with the film is that they tried to keep to the spirit of the original Tron. But I think, on the same hand, that was their problem. They couldn't really do a 'users are god' movie without being 'politically incorrect' in this day and age. XD

I was pretty happy with the movie, as dumb as it was at parts. It certainly didn't let down visually.
I will be very happy if they upgrade Space Paranoids to The Grid in the next big installment of KH. ; v ;

Agreed! Though the light cycle parts of KH were more what I was expecting for Legacy. There's something about the 90 degree turns...it just makes more sense for a comp or video game rather than Legacy's "MOTOCROSS!!!...with sometimes light ribbons." But as for KH as long as there's cool new costumes and no musical sections, I really can't complain. ^_^

No problem, and I know what you mean. I have to deal with it, since I can't download/buy any programs onto the family computer. I've had to scrap one too many AMVs because WMM wouldn't let me finish by glitching or shutting down completely. /sob
