'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.'Never thought I'd be using THAT quote for anything. Ever. But that and 'A Time to Kill' just seemed right!
Anyway, Kyuubi no Yoko (Ala this pic? ) and Namikaze Naruto, based on an AU RP and one that I kind of want to get back to someday really badly. Kyuubi is a LOT of fun to roleplay though I love Naruto too.
This is Kyuubi teaching Naruto how to survive - and in so doing, how to kill.
This pic was supposed to be a doodle. And it wasn’t turning out as one so I worked backwards, putting in the background last. Which I never do so. I messed around with this pic, it’s a bit odd.
Also, I’m still very paranoid about the colours in this pic. :squints: I’m not sure they’re right because no matter what I do, my PSD files still don’t look 'right' as jpegs or PNGs or gifs or anything outside of PSD files. So if the colours are off… I’ll just go stab something. o/

I don't know why, but Kyuubi in this picture just reminds me of a red haired Kanda from D-gray man. I think it's primarily the eyes and the ponytail that bring that vibe.

Woah...! Your Kyuubi looks like a red haired version of Gakupo from Vocaloid!
Anyway, the detail and colors are really great and the lighting is fabulous.
Even though I don't agree with the theory that Kyuubi would be nice to the fleshbag that he was trapped in and had to lend its power to just so it didn't die before it found a way to escape death.
...Did I just sound sympathic to Kyuubi's situation?

That's actually a male, and its the Kyuubi no Yoko in human form.

This is outstanding. So much goes into this. Not only do you incorporate the story but you also approach it more personally. You have Kyuubi having a personal, quiet conversation with Naruto in the middle of the woods.
Irony.
Because when we think Kyuubi, we think of a fierce, bloodthirsty monster. Here we see the 9 tails as a calm, serious man telling Naruto to be strong.
