Personality:
He seems calm, cold and indifferent. But in fact, Astie quite emotional but discreet. For some reason he doesn't like to show his emotions. Asterism not talkative and unsociable. He's smart, but terribly unsure of himself.

Facts:
- Asterism is very low for the stallion. He's about the size of a mare.
- Asterism is really talented in magic. He easily learns new spells and use magic. But he had never been particularly interested in this.
- Despite the emotional parents(especially Pinkie Pie), Asti very well knows how to control his emotions.
- Few pony know that his talent is cooking, because not everyone knows exactly what is depicted on his Cutie mark. Many pony think think that his talent is magic.
- Asterism real homebody. So much a homebody, that he easily lost in his hometown. Not to mention the other cities. He has serious problems with the orientation of the terrain.
- Astie can eat stones, like the rest members of the Pie family. But he is not able to break the stones with the same ease.
- Asterism has inherited from Pinkie her Pinkie-feeling, but he never trust it, because it doesn't always work correctly.
- Asterism has a pen pal. Their dialogue began quite by accident, but continues to this day. For some reason, Astie holds the correspondence secret. He and someone named Shining write to each other for several years. During this time they became close friends.
