Description
The Osean 6th Paramarine Regiment is a highly trained infantry formation within the Osean Defense Force. Formed in 1906, it has been the premier rapid reaction force of the Osean Armed Forces and had been constantly deploying all around the world to fight against the enemies of the federation. The regiment has specialized skills that enables them to deploy via sea, air, land and perform a variety of covert operation mission anywhere on any type of terrain.

1906 era - Osea entered war with Belka and the use of aircraft in combat that following year led to the formation of the 1st Paramarine Battalion. The 1st Paramarine Battalion become the first airborne infantry unit in history and saw extensive combat. The lack of major ground engagement in the Second Osean War (1940) led to the deactivation of the battalion.

1960 era - Osea entered into a cold war with the western nation of Yuktobania and proxy warfare substituted full scale armed conflict. A small part of the the 1st Paramarine Battalion were reactivated as highly trained reconnaissance scouting units and were deploy to highly contested regions to combat socialism.

1995 era - Belka launched an surprise attack on its neighboring countries and triggered the Belkan War, plunging the continent into chaos yet again. This time the 1st Paramarine Battalion were reactivated at full strength and return to its root of being an airborne infantry unit. After the end of the Belkan War, the Osean Armed Forces saw the need of highly trained infantry unit capable of responding to foreign threat at a moment notice and the 6th Paramarine Regiment was born. Three more battalions were raised in order to increase combat effectiveness.

2010 era - Yuktobania unexpected declared war and a conflict broke out, the paramarine saw action for the first time as a combat regiment. Many new technologies, equipment and combat tactics were incorporated and the regiment saw an unprecedented growth in terms of size, operational capability and increased employment as the covert operation force of choice.

Present era - The regiment retain its status as a highly trained, rapid reaction infantry force and had constantly deploy around the world against the enemies of the federation.
