Damn, the anatomy is impressive. Didn't see a lot of indie animators put so much effort into precisely animating one's musculature.

Dude, this is a grade A animation! This must have been an incredible amount of work. How do you create something like this? Are you using any helping methods (maybe 3D models, mannequins, real video footage) to draw the character over, or is this fully created from scratch by hand? I mean, I have an eye for such media, and it simply looks like full of skill!

how do you get the gradients to stay so consistent? I always have trouble with that myself and have to "hand paint" each frame.

In ToonBoom is a good tool that helps you change the gradient way, power and size.
