Discover your duo wanted a duo more iconic than the night fury and light fury (not really iconic), and the answer is pretty obvious: Toothless and Hiccup. I finished the animation, though it doesn't really count for discover your duo anymore. One of the few concepts I liked about this movie was Toothless playing fetch with Hiccup's leg. Really the animation in this movie surpassed the other two and was really impressive. This movie was average as a stand alone movie but really bad as a finale in my opinion. Just many of the main plot points like Toothless's romance with the Light Fury, Grimmel somehow killing off all the night furies, and the separation of the dragons seemed either rushed or forced at times. There really was no valid reason why the rest of the dragons had to leave with Toothless just because he wanted to be with the Light Fury in the Hidden World. The finale just could have been so much better. At the time I went to watch it, I wasn't as interested in How to Train your Dragon as I was in my younger years, but it being the finale, it reignited those feelings I once had as a big fan. So I was pretty frustrated with how it was played out. Wasn't disappointed by the animation at all though. I'll probably post a rant later to get my opinion about the movie as a whole off my chest. So for now, here's Hiccup playing fetch with Toothless.
