Between revenue, and a little later his/her inheritance from his/her mother, he/she is putting together a tidy sum. The original purpose was to try to afford to have the incorrectly gendered nanotech dealt with, but when it became known reversal was not possible, he/she just decided to save it for later. Maybe full female conversion might be possible in the future, but the pipe dream of finding the Prushka and buying it the current goal.
