Description

This is a possible sceneΒ  that was based on a dream I actually had. The images are what the AI generated as I guided it. A lot of it was done with Artbreeder, but using seed images taken from NightcafeCreator.

Calima didn't like swimming. The water was either too hot or too cold, it resisted her every move, and whatever they used to sterilize it hurt her eyes – and she abolutely hated the color they painted pools.

But this was different. The light was subdued and the pool was very art-deco in its styling, and it was colored an apropriate fern-green. It wasn't very large, and was deep as it was wide and long. Plants grew at the bottom, and some spilled down the sides from above. The temperature was perfect, embracing her, and when she could hold her breath no longer, she took a deep breath, even though she was at the bottom of the pool, and found to her delight that she could.

Somewhere distant, someone was calling, the sound muffled by the water. They could call all they wanted, and Calima had no intention of responding. The pool was too soothing, and so secure.

At least, it had been. Now the water was draining away, becoming cold as it did. Soon she was lying on the floor of the pool, the plants having drained with the water. The water she had been breathing forced its way out of her airways, leaving her air-starved for a few moments, before air filled her lungs again.

Calima coughed, not that she really needed to – all the water had already cleared her lungs. In fact, breathing was easier than she remembered, as if the effects of years of breathing less-than-pure air had been healed.
