Trying to find inspiration is hard, so I set up that fanart poll. Someone commented with Scooby Doo, so I decided I'll draw the Scooby Doo characters... maybe. Velma, at least Problem is, I _suck_ at drawing male character.
Anyways, I really like Velma, so I drew her~ When I looked up references for her on dA, however, I was saddened by the fact half the pictures seemed to be sexually explicit... I particularly like Velma because she's kind of a down to earth character: kind of nerdy, smart, and clumsy. She has a more _real_ body type than a lot of other characters (Daphne included). Not that I actually managed to draw it, but in the actual cartoon it's there XD
