Description

Snip of the story
As he scans through the choices he can hear the chime of the doorbell announcing the arrival of another customer. Donnie pays no mind until he can feel eyes on him. Glancing up he half expects some stuck up snob to be at his table demanding Donnie move to another one. Not that. Not this hulk of a Lionturtle accompanied by two bodyguards. The man was built a lot like Raph but at least a foot taller, dark ash brown skin highlighted by a deep maroon mane and beard. His piercing green eyes filled Donnie with unease as they flicked over him. It was like he was being hunted in plain sight. Donnie kept studying the man peering over the menu. Was that really what Lionturtles were supposed to look like? No wonder people just call Tonie a turtle.

"Here you are sir." The waiter placed a glass of pitch black coffee topped with black and white swirled whip cream in front of Donnie.

"I didn't-" Donnie began but the waiter raised a hand to stop him.

"Complements of the gentlemen sitting over there." They left in a hurry disappearing behind closed doors.

Donnie eyed the glass then the man. Ugh Tonie was right I attract the worst people. He thought raising the glass and nodding his head at the gentlemen, putting on his best attempt at a pleased smile. As he sipped the drink he noticed the grey wool suit the man was dressed in didn't run over his shell. The suit must have been designed to stop at the edges of the shell. He must have paid a high price for it yet the points of the mans red-orange carapus had ripped clear through.

The man stood moseying over to Donnie's table his bodyguards following close behind him. He tipped his head in greeting. "May I sit with you?" His voice was lower than Tonie's deepest growls.

"Actually no you may not. I am waiting on a friend." Donnie did his best to keep his monotone pitch but his body was already threatening to shiver under the mans frozen leer.

The Lionturtle huffed, the same huff Donnie would catch Tonie doing when he was content. "If its only a friend I'm sure they wont mind if I borrow some of your time." He sat down anyway, his men coming to stand on each side of Donnie. "My name is Judas and I have a proposition of sorts for you."

"I am not a prostitute nor can I be bought or sol-" there was sharp pain as his head struck the table, his vision blurring for a moment. One of the bodyguards had slammed his head onto the table holding it there. Donnie tried to lift his gaze up to Judas.

Judas leaned in resting his massive arms on the table. "I'm sorry my men acted irrationally, you just can't get good bodyguards now adays."

If Donnie wasn't trembling before he was now his glare more of a bluff than anything. The bodyguard kept a firm hand on his back but released Donnie's head.

Judas reached out a large powerful hand gripping Donnie's jaw, forcing him to look at him. "You see my sorry excuse of a son became quite possessive over a jade green turtle with purple markings. Sound familiar?" He turned Donnie's head side to side looking at his unique markings. " Though, now I can see why he is obsessed with you. If only you were female the two of you would produce beautiful cubs."

Donnie tried to pull free of Judas grip but the man unsheathed his claws pricking at Donnie's skin. "Such a shame." Donnie hissed through clenched teeth.

Judas almost looked pleased at Donnie's rebellion. "It is." He ran the back side of his claw against Donnie's throat. "My son has been acting out ever since I disowned him. The proposition is simple I pay you to date my son, keep him happy fill his needs and keep him out of trouble. You can do that can't you?" He released Donnie's jaw but brought the tip of his claw to rest under Donnie's chin making Donnie look up at an uncomfortable angle. "Answer carefully."
