the masta's comment -
the boy is so secluded, sad and fragile, that I feel if I touch him he shall ripple and dissapear.

This is really good. I love they way you used and layered the colors.
I'm always amazed by people who can watercolor nicely because I know watercoloring is such a difficult medium. I'm impressed!

This is amazing! I'm always impressed by watercolors, because I know just how unforgiving the medium is. You've done such a great job with the textures and lighting, without making the face look tired or overworked. You've captured so much energy and so much life... awesome work.

Love it. I love that you can see the evidence of your brushstroke and the emotion that you've captured. He appears to have a soul (very difficult to depict indeed). I don't even mind that you used black to shade in his face, though it might be nice to use more reds and oranges in the features that are supposed to be popping forward, such as the chin, lips and nose. At this point, everything seems to be on the same plane.
Faving though ^_~.

Wow, this is stunning! I love it. Being someone who can't use watercolour to save a life, I find this so impressive. Especially when it's given a look where you can see the light shining through - In this case in the eyes, and on the nose.
The way you've made the blending look so perfect and fragile, yet it has quite an untidy look to it! The mixture of colours is really nice, and the lighting is just... wow. It's all brought together so nicely. I really like the little brushstrokes, like the on the lips for example.

Wow i love how you've managed to give the skin such texture by using watercolour (a medium im not as good with). The lighting is brilliant too. Wonderful!
